ACTO USA - American Citizens of Taiwan Origin
ACTO Practical Medical Handbook PDF Print E-mail

American Citizens of Taiwan Origin (ACTO) is a national non-profit organization whose main goal is to help people from Taiwan get settled into American mainstream society. Of the people from Taiwan now living in the United States, most either came as students or as immigrants. Often, however, a language barrier still exists even after living in the U.S. for many years. This language barrier can be a hardship when seeking medical care since it may be difficult to clearly explain medical problems and symptoms using the appropriate medical terms. Therefore, to overcome such problems, we have channeled our efforts and resources to put together this booklet entitled, “Practical Medical Handbook”. (Preface in Chinese)
